Here are three seriously cool preteen ministry games on video (see real students playing them..cool).

The truth is these games work with preteens, jr high and high school – youth groups of all ages. So, if you oversee other age groups…you hit the jackpot.

Watch the first video, which has two games in one…

Game #1 – Pole Grenade

How to Play

1. Fill two balloons with shaving cream.

2. Duck tape them to pool noodles.

3. Hit the mess out of each other.

4. Put a toothpick in the noodle behind the balloon to act as a trigger.

Game #2 – Spell-i-oh’s

How to Play

1. Transport ABC letter soup via mouth to a table.

2. Have other students at the table with toothpicks.

3. Their job is to spell out their school name with the letters.

4. First team to spell it out wins.

Here’s the next one called “Rush Hour”…

Watch the video of students playing the game (instructions are in the video).

How to play:

  • Students sit in chairs across from each other.
  • At the signal, they run to the opposite side and sit down.
  • Each time remove 1-2 chairs from each side.
  • Any student left standing sits in the middle of the floor.
  • Last student standing on each side wins.

Rush Hour is a fun and easy preteen ministry game. Perfect for a last minute game to add to your next gathering.

P.S. – Thanks to Delmar Peet from Bethel Student Ministries in South Carolina for making these awesome videos!

Enjoy the games! 🙂
