Lesson 1: What Is Worship?
Bible Passages:
Psalm 19:1-4; Romans 1:25; Romans 5:8; Romans 1:20
Bottom Line: Worship is our response to God’s awesomeness.
What’s That to Me? God created our world and everything beyond our world, and He even sent Jesus to pay the price for our sins. God is worthy of our worship and praise.
Overview:  Ask a preteen or adult to define worship and most of them will mention singing at church. We’re all guilty of thinking about worship this way. But the truth is, worship is so much more than just singing. Worship is a lifestyle of thankfulness and praise.

Lesson 2: Whom do we worship?
Bible Passage:
2 Samuel 6
Bottom Line: Our worship is always for the One True God.
What’s That to Me? Worship God with reckless abandon—without worrying about what others say or think.
Overview: Sociologists suggest that every culture—even the most remote—practice some form of ritualistic worship. Some of the things those people groups worship are nature, man-made images, or sometimes even deceased ancestors. As followers of Jesus, our worship is different because it’s always for the One True God.

Lesson 3: How do we worship?
Bible Passages:
Psalm 98:4; Luke 17:15; Psalm 95:6; 1 Timothy 2:8; Psalm 119:103; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7; Psalm 149:1
Bottom Line: We can worship God in many different ways.
What’s That to Me? Worship, in many different forms, can be part of our daily lives. There’s no wrong way to worship as long it comes from the heart and glorifies God!
Overview: There’s really no right or wrong way to worship as long as it’s directed to God and gives Him the glory. Still, there are many examples in Scripture for ways we can worship in our private and public. We’ll take a look ways people in the Bible worshiped God through shouts of praise, prayer, sacrifices (serving/giving), music, and meditating on God’s Word.

Lesson 4: When and where should we worship?
Bible Passages: John 4; John 4:19-24; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Hebrews 4:14-16; Hebrews 13:15-16; Exodus 3:1-6The Bottom Line: Because God is with us, we can worship Him anytime and anywhere.
What’s That to Me? There’s no right or wrong place or time to worship. People can worship how they choose, and God wants us use this special connection to him to praise him through our lives and actions.
Overview: When God revealed Himself to Moses, God commanded Moses to remove his shoes while standing on holy ground. This wasn’t because there was something special about that particular place on the ground—it was because God’s presence made that ground holy. In the New Covenant, God has given us direct access to his throne through Jesus’ life and sacrifice. That means our sacrifice of praise and worship can be boldly offered to God anytime, anywhere.
