Catalyst West

Catalyst West Conference was super good.  First time I’ve ever been and wanted to share with you my take aways.

My favorite speakers at the conference were Andy Stanley, Donald Miller and Erwin McManus.

Loved the creative out of the box experience at Catalyst. Not your typical leadership conference.

I now feel inspired to continue pursuing the dreams God has placed on my heart.  In the ordinary day in day out business of life and ministry, it is easy to lose sight of what God is doing in and through you.  My vision has been clarified to think outside the box and live differently.  To take some risks and pursue an unusual tomorrow.

I’ve also been inspired to focus more on LEADING our volunteer team.  I’ll be focusing more on delegating, resourcing and equipping them throughout the rest of 2010.  I also want to focus on building relationships with preteens outside of Wednesday night and Sunday.  I’ve done that a lot in the past, but not so much since coming on staff here back in August of 2009.  Needed to get a grip on some other things first.  I am ready now.
