KidMin Conference 2011: The Biggest Need
I’m really pumped about the KidMin Conference on October 7-11, 2011 for a lot of reasons. Today, I will share with you about the biggest need the 2011 KidMin Conference will meet. Well, I’ll name more than one.
Here you go:
1. Relate & Relax: So many conferences are so jammed packed that you’re exhausted at the end. You go home with information overload. The unique thing about the 2011 KidMin Conference is that you’ll have the opportunity for downtime. Love it! You’ll also have opportunities to network with and make friends with other children’s ministry leaders. Big deal! Wait, there’s more. You’ll be able to mingle with the speakers. Haven’t you always wanted to get to know and spend face time with them? You’ll get to do that. Pretty cool!
2. Besides the typical general sessions & workshops, you’ll have an opportunity to go deeper on a given topic in two ways:
Deeper Learning Tracks: Besides the general sessions, you’ll be able to sign up for Deeper Learning Tracks. Deeper learning tracks allow you to get away from the fire-hose blast of information in the typical workshop training model and dig deeper into topics for a greater understanding of how to apply what they’ve learned in their unique ministry situation.
Half Tracks: Half-Tracks allow for depth and breadth–a mix between the exploration of Deeper Learning Tracks and the broader scope of workshops. Some Half-Tracks are designed in beginner and advanced segments–they’ll go at the pace you need. There are so many great topics to choose from, this gives you the chance to dig deeper into two different subject areas on Saturday and Sunday!
