We just started a preteen ministry for 5th and 6th graders last Fall, and found that having a team already together was helpful. The team I had actually sprang out of our VBS program during the summer. The teachers I had volunteering for VBS in the 5-6th grade got so inspired by teaching these kids, that they came to me and asked to be a part of our preteen ministry. It has worked out well.

Thank you Katie for GREAT ideas. I am inspired to start a preteen ministry in our Church. I wish I could get more ideas… You have alot of experience and may the Lord continue to use you to help others like me.
