Leading Preteens

The thought occurred to me that I have yet to read the book Leading Preteens by Patrick Snow.  It’s the most recent book written on preteen ministry.  Patrick is a friend and I love what he brings to the preteen ministry world.  He’s got a lot of experience and speaks to thousands of preteens a year through SuperStart.  Think he knows a thing or two about the topic. So, Monday, I’ve decided to order his book and read it.  I recommend you do too.  I am even considering blogging about each chapter as I read.  Kind of take you along with me on the journey.

Another book I’ve recently read is Tipping Point by Maxwell Gladwell.  I’ve read it once and then read my underlined highlights again.  Gladwell throws some really good thoughts out there.  I’m also thinking of blogging on the highlights of the book.  Although, I might change my mind in a few minutes.  Guess you’ll have to keep coming back to see what happens 🙂

    I just got the book in the mail the other day. Have read the first chapter and plan on blogging about it. So, be on the look out. Also, had lunch today with Craig Wilson, who is a contributing author of the book. Didn’t know that till we had lunch. He’s a cool guy.
