Here’s a fun and easy game to play in your preteen ministry.

It’s perfect for an upcoming summer or back to school event.

On a personal note, I hope you had a great 4th of July weekend. I sure did.

Friday night I took my two boys to go see Terminator Genisys (my mom came along as well). For those Terminator fans out there, I give it 3 thumbs up 🙂

On Saturday morning at the crack of dawn, our family woke up to run a four mile race called “Four on the 4th”.

See the below pic of myself and my 13 year old son, Ethan, after the race. You might notice I wasn’t my normal cheerful self in the pic. Why? Because I was flat out exhausted! I gave it my all, finishing 4 miles in 32 minutes. An all time best record for me, but I’m still sore 3 days later 🙂

Regardless, it was a really fun thing for our family to do early 4th of July morning.

Next, my dad took us out on his boat to go tubing. Woohoo! Tons of fun. We finished off the day eating dinner with my dad at a nearby restaurant. Oh yeah 🙂

It was a great way to celebrate the 4th July. Nothing like celebrating it with the ones you love!

Here’s my son and I after running the “Four on the Forth” race. As you can see, I was exhausted. On the outside I was kinda smiling, but on the inside I was crying 🙂

I believe your son is smiling up a storm and looking pretty fresh yet. 🙂
