Christmas Wrap Game & Sunday Recap

This Sunday at Pursuit, our preteen ministry, we played the Christmas Wrap game. It’s a simple game. Pair preteen with a partner and have one student wrap the other in Christmas wrapping paper. The team that is most creative wins. Here’s a pic of our group. Fun game!

We are on week 3 of the Marvelous Light Christmas series and today we talked about how Jesus is the light of the world. The lesson went great!

As a result of the Connecticut shooting on Friday, our lead pastor Crispin integrated kids of all ages into adult worship at the end of the worship service. We had a time of prayer as a church family. Praying both for the victims’ family, for the physical and spiritual health of our own children, and for children everywhere. It was a really cool experience – the entire church together, praying for the Connecticut community, for children everywhere and for our own children.
