Thank You

Today was my last day as Children’s Pastor at 7 San Diego Church. For the last 14 years, I have served full-time IN the local church. Starting today, I now serve churches ALL OVER the world full-time through PreteenMinistry.net. I now have the freedom to serve God in new ways – thanks to you.

A big thank you to the 1,100+ churches around the world who use our preteen curriculum and resources. Your support allows me to jump into leading PreteenMinistry.net full-time. Which means I will spend even more time and energy creating new resources that help you to better reach preteens in your group. A very cool concept if you think about it. You buy cool stuff that helps you better impact preteens, which fuels the engine to create more cool stuff that helps you reach them even more effectively. That engine includes a team of writers, editor, graphic designer, customer support person and more. That’s a lot of folks. A big thank you to our team as well!

Here is a snapshot of what’s coming ahead for PreteenMinistry.net:

We will soon release our very first preteen video series (June/July) – Epic Fail. Weekly devotions will be included with the series (another new thing for this one).

A new training series (maybe two),  back to school series (6 weeks), and small group series, called Master Design, will be released in August.

New website design launching in late July/early August.

On a personal note, here’s what my summer looks like:

Moving to New Orleans, LA on June 12 (our travels begin). We arrive on June 17th (stopping at Schlitterbaum water park & Alamo in San Antonio on the way).

Going to JH Ranch with my 10 year old son, Ethan, in July. JH Ranch is hosting their first ever parent/preteen camp and I get to attend (not speak). I’ve heard some really great things about JH Ranch, which is in Northern California. It’s supposed to be one of the best camp/retreat facilities in the country! J12 is leading the camp, an I am also pumped about connecting with them while there.

Wow, I am a busy man! Gotta love it though!
